本書共分為兩個部分,第一部分包括八個單元,分別介紹票務(wù)、車站服務(wù)、乘車服務(wù)、餐飲服務(wù)、乘務(wù)播音、突發(fā)情況的應(yīng)急處理及乘務(wù)員服務(wù)規(guī)范的經(jīng)典句型、常用對話及鐵路相關(guān)知識方面的閱讀材料。第二部分為附錄,包括主要景點、場所名錄及常用專業(yè)詞匯與短語。
本書有三大特點:一是內(nèi)容的前瞻性和創(chuàng)新性。本書是為適應(yīng)現(xiàn)代中國鐵路和城市輕軌等發(fā)展的需要而編寫的特色英語服務(wù)教材。二是內(nèi)容的實踐性。本書采用全英文情景模擬的方法來編寫,選取了高鐵服務(wù)過程中的經(jīng)典對話。三是內(nèi)容的系統(tǒng)性。本書對高鐵服務(wù)的整個服務(wù)流程和每個細節(jié)及其在實踐中的應(yīng)用都做了詳盡的介紹。
