本教材以我國英語學習者真實的寫作過程(從信息收集、思路整理、概念階梯、段落結構特征到正式文體的語篇特征、邏輯關系、連貫、前言和結語以及中式英語特征等)入手,強調寫作過程的真實性和邏輯性。教材每單元以我國英語教育研究最新成果產出導向法為內容設計原則,將驅動、促成、評價三環(huán)節(jié)運用于每單元活動設計中。從驅動環(huán)節(jié)開始激發(fā)學生認識到自身知識和技能方面存在的不足,再根據(jù)學生的寫作問題,提供內容、結構、語言上的促成活動;最后以評促學,有效實現(xiàn)單元教學目標和產出目標。
