朱望,汕頭大學(xué)文學(xué)院外國語言文學(xué)系教授,兩次赴美國、一次赴英國作英國文學(xué)和西方文化研究項目(國家項目一個)。從1996年至今發(fā)表現(xiàn)代英國文學(xué)論文多篇,如《論T.S論艾略特的文化保守主義》《文學(xué)與文化之間:〈論印度之行〉跨文化的多重意義》《論喬伊斯〈一個青年藝術(shù)家的畫像〉中的社會化意義》等(刊于《外國文學(xué)研究》《國外文學(xué)》《外國文學(xué)》《英美文學(xué)研究論叢》《解放軍外語學(xué)院學(xué)報》等期刊)。著有《現(xiàn)代英國文學(xué)大家》和《現(xiàn)當(dāng)代西方文化名家》,形成了文學(xué)與文化相輔相成的配套英文教材。 教授現(xiàn)代英國文學(xué)20年(汕大教學(xué)無記名評估每位學(xué)期97—99分,名列全校第一/校平均分88);任碩士導(dǎo)師12年;完成汕頭大學(xué)的“20世紀(jì)英國文學(xué)”精品課程建設(shè)項目,本教材就是項目建設(shè)的主要內(nèi)容;獲云南省“優(yōu)秀教師”稱號,多次獲云南大學(xué)校級、省級和汕頭大學(xué)校級優(yōu)秀獎,并獲得“李嘉誠基金會卓越教師獎”。
