《iCourse·課程:跨文化交際與地球村民/大學(xué)英語(yǔ)應(yīng)用類(lèi)課程系列》基于“知行合一”的跨文化交際模式,遵循循序漸進(jìn)、與時(shí)俱進(jìn)、學(xué)以致用的原則。通過(guò)對(duì)中西方文化異同的展示和分析,努力剖析其中蘊(yùn)涵的深層文化根源,提供豐富的跨文化交際語(yǔ)境,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)問(wèn)題之源,培養(yǎng)分析問(wèn)題和解決問(wèn)題的能力,增強(qiáng)多元文化意識(shí),克服民族文化中心主義,提高跨文化交際能力。我們圍繞主題,精心選擇每一篇文章,用心設(shè)計(jì)每一個(gè)練習(xí),并根據(jù)多年積累的跨文化交際教學(xué)的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和使用《iCourse·課程:跨文化交際與地球村民/大學(xué)英語(yǔ)應(yīng)用類(lèi)課程系列》的體會(huì),參考和整合了國(guó)內(nèi)外新素材,推出了這本與“愛(ài)課程”相匹配、供高等學(xué)校非英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)本科學(xué)生使用的教材。
《iCourse·課程:跨文化交際與地球村民/大學(xué)英語(yǔ)應(yīng)用類(lèi)課程系列》南十個(gè)主題構(gòu)成十個(gè)單元。前七個(gè)單元與“愛(ài)課程”上的七個(gè)講課專(zhuān)題一一對(duì)應(yīng),依次是:全球化與跨文化交際、交際與文化、言語(yǔ)交際、非言語(yǔ)交際、文化價(jià)值觀(guān)、文化休克和跨文化交際能力。從第八單元起的后三個(gè)單元是全新的內(nèi)容,依次是:教育中的跨文化交際、商業(yè)中的跨文化交際、網(wǎng)絡(luò)中的跨文化交際。《iCourse·課程:跨文化交際與地球村民/大學(xué)英語(yǔ)應(yīng)用類(lèi)課程系列》各單元既獨(dú)立成章,又前后貫通,環(huán)環(huán)緊扣,從理論到實(shí)踐,無(wú)不體現(xiàn)出編者的用心良苦。每個(gè)單元由四個(gè)模塊組成:Warmup,Readings,Exercises,and Additional Reading。我們從引出主題、導(dǎo)入主題內(nèi)容,再到練習(xí)和拓展,力求從不同視角介紹和探討跨文化交際的主要內(nèi)容和一些重要問(wèn)題,也給學(xué)有余力的學(xué)生對(duì)同一主題提供了進(jìn)一步研修的閱讀文獻(xiàn)。每單元的練習(xí)又分為四個(gè)部分:Cultural Quiz,Group Discussion,Intercultural Practice,和Case Studies,內(nèi)容豐富,趣味性、互動(dòng)性、操作性均很強(qiáng),可供學(xué)生課內(nèi)外討論或?qū)嵺`。希望通過(guò)這些環(huán)節(jié)的訓(xùn)練,促使學(xué)生主動(dòng)把跨文化交際知識(shí)轉(zhuǎn)化為有效得體的跨文化交際行為,真正做到知行合一,知行并進(jìn),行其所知,知其所行,全面提高自身的綜合素養(yǎng),在全球化時(shí)代做個(gè)合格的地球村民。
