本書的寫作視角是考察當(dāng)代西方翻譯研究的主要成果及其對翻譯活動產(chǎn)生的影響,重點探討當(dāng)代西方翻譯理論的發(fā)展脈絡(luò),梳理這一時期歐美翻譯學(xué)界的主流思想。全書從翻譯研究概況入手,分析20世紀(jì)后四十年到本世紀(jì)初的主要翻譯流派,涉及語言學(xué)翻譯理論、功能學(xué)派翻譯理論、闡釋學(xué)派翻譯理論、文化研究學(xué)派翻譯理論、解構(gòu)主義翻譯理論、女性主義翻譯理論及后殖民翻譯理論,并對當(dāng)今翻譯研究和翻譯實踐中有爭議的三個重要問題進(jìn)行了討論。

楊彩霞,中國人民大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院英語語言文學(xué)、翻譯教授,博士生導(dǎo)師,外國語學(xué)院教學(xué)督導(dǎo)組組長,大學(xué)英語翻譯教學(xué)團(tuán)隊負(fù)責(zé)人,MTI教育中心筆譯方向?qū),中國翻譯協(xié)會專家會員,《基督教思想評論》特約編審,國內(nèi)多家一級出版社翻譯。著作有《英漢翻譯理論與教學(xué)研究》、《二十世紀(jì)美國文學(xué)與圣經(jīng)傳統(tǒng)》,譯著有《中國印度之智慧》、《全球倫理》、《讓•皮亞杰》《還原出埃及記》、《二十一世紀(jì)學(xué)習(xí)的革命》、《化身博士》等30余部獨譯作品,主編教材《大學(xué)英語寫作》(一),參與編寫教材4部,在國家刊物上發(fā)表論文30多篇。獲中國人民大學(xué)十大教學(xué)標(biāo)兵稱號(2016),多次獲得全國大學(xué)生翻譯比賽、演講比賽、寫作比賽等英語競賽指導(dǎo)教師獎項。
