百余年來,中國(guó)人在“西學(xué)東漸”潮流中,閱讀、翻譯了不少西方自然科學(xué)及哲學(xué)社會(huì)科學(xué)著作,汲取了許多知識(shí)與學(xué)術(shù)滋養(yǎng),也包括舞蹈藝術(shù)理論和舞蹈人文知識(shí)。
多年來,許多被譯成中文的英文舞蹈論著,在中國(guó)產(chǎn)生了很好的影響,諸如世界舞蹈史、芭蕾舞史、現(xiàn)代舞史、舞蹈文化史、西方舞蹈美學(xué)、舞蹈編導(dǎo)及身體訓(xùn)練等方面的著作,以及一些舞蹈家個(gè)人傳記,如《鄧肯自傳》《巴蘭欽傳》《尼金斯基筆記》《皮娜·鮑什舞蹈劇場(chǎng)新美學(xué)》;等等。
相對(duì)而言,中文舞蹈史論著則很少被譯成西文。我只知王克芬的《中國(guó)古代舞蹈史》前幾年已被譯成英文。這可能與中文舞蹈論著一向較少有關(guān)。
然而,近年來,中國(guó)舞蹈界確實(shí)產(chǎn)生一些舞蹈學(xué)術(shù)論著、史著和舞蹈教材等,其中不乏有價(jià)值的著述,也具有介紹性質(zhì)。只是外國(guó)朋友懂中文的實(shí)在太少,有些朋友到北京看到那些中文書都是望而生畏,只挑了個(gè)別設(shè)計(jì)拉班舞譜的書籍。這使我們產(chǎn)生了自己進(jìn)行舞蹈學(xué)論著中譯英的設(shè)想,或許這會(huì)幫助他們了解中國(guó)。此想法受到學(xué)界的肯定,也得到某些教育機(jī)構(gòu)的支持。這套叢書,雖然只包括三部著作,但在某種程度上代表了中國(guó)當(dāng)代舞蹈理論方面的成果。
呂藝生,現(xiàn)任職務(wù),北京舞蹈學(xué)院教授,北京舞蹈家協(xié)會(huì)主席、中國(guó)舞蹈協(xié)會(huì)顧問、中國(guó)教育學(xué)會(huì)舞蹈專業(yè)委員會(huì)理事長(zhǎng)、北京師范大學(xué)兼職教授、北京理工大學(xué)博士研究生導(dǎo)師。曾任職務(wù),北京舞蹈學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)文藝人才理事會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)、北京大學(xué)生藝術(shù)團(tuán)藝術(shù)指導(dǎo)。
主要論著:《中國(guó)藝術(shù)教育大系舞蹈卷》主編、《舞蹈大辭典》(中國(guó)戲劇出版社)、《舞論》(中國(guó)戲劇出版社)、《舞蹈教育學(xué)》(上海音樂出版社)、《舞蹈學(xué)導(dǎo)論》(上海音樂出版社)、《中學(xué)音樂舞蹈老師〈舞蹈〉教材》(高教出版社)、《藝術(shù)管理》(上海音樂出版社)、《大型晚會(huì)編導(dǎo)藝術(shù)》(上海音樂出版社)。
主要成就:1957年世界青年聯(lián)歡節(jié)表演雙人舞《牧笛》獲銀質(zhì)獎(jiǎng)?wù)隆?992年獲文化優(yōu)秀專家稱號(hào)、1992年獲國(guó)務(wù)院有特殊貢獻(xiàn)專家待遇、1998年因編導(dǎo)《歡慶香港回歸》獲北京“五個(gè)一工程獎(jiǎng)”、《舞蹈教育學(xué)》獲得國(guó)家級(jí)優(yōu)秀教材二等獎(jiǎng)、“北京舞蹈學(xué)院學(xué)科建設(shè)”獲得北京市科研項(xiàng)目一等獎(jiǎng)和國(guó)家二等獎(jiǎng)。

The enthusiasm for folk dance in urban area was lit at the Longtan temple fair held inBeijing.Dancers all over the nation were invited here to compete for a prestigious award.Based on the first success,the organizers decided to make it an annual activity and thenames of every year's jadges would be carved on the wall of the competition building.
