《中國舞蹈理論叢書：中國民間舞蹈文化教程（英譯本）》是普通高等教育國家級重點教材，首次提出“中國原始舞蹈遺存”“鼓舞開先河”“民間舞蹈文化特征”等論點，從動態(tài)形象入手，把中國56個民族的民間舞蹈劃分為農(nóng)耕、草原、海洋、農(nóng)牧、綠洲五大文化類型，運用動態(tài)切入法——“特定層次、多種因素、縱橫探深入研究、貴在升華，動態(tài)切入、意境描繪、個性升華”的系統(tǒng)理論，從自然環(huán)境、社會生活、民族血緣關(guān)系、語言系屬、民族審美心理等方面對中國民間舞蹈文化進行分析，并作綜合性論述。
羅雄巖，漢族，1928年生，廣東三水人�，F(xiàn)為北京舞蹈學(xué)院舞蹈學(xué)系教授、研究員、顧問；中國舞蹈家協(xié)會會員和民族民間舞蹈委員會委員，中國民俗學(xué)會、中國敦煌吐魯番學(xué)會舞蹈分會會員：新疆藝術(shù)學(xué)院院客座教授、文化部民族民間文藝發(fā)展中心特約研究員、國家非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)保護工程專家委員會委員。享受國務(wù)院專家津貼待遇。專著有：《生命的律動》（《中國民間文化叢書·舞蹈卷》）、《中國舞蹈》（《中國文化藝術(shù)叢書》）（合寫）、《中國民間舞蹈文化教程》和研究生教材《中國民間舞蹈文化》�！吨袊蟀倏迫珪ひ魳肺璧妇怼飞贁�(shù)民族分支副主編、《中國舞蹈詞典》少數(shù)民族分支主編及撰稿人。目前仍在帶領(lǐng)研究生進行“中國民間舞蹈文化學(xué)科”的教學(xué)與理論研究工作。
