本書從系統(tǒng)功能語言學、文體學、對比修辭學、描寫翻譯研究及其在翻譯批評領域的擴展應用等研究角度出發(fā),在描寫性研究與解釋性研究相結合的研究框架下,運用基于語料庫的研究方法,獨創(chuàng)了一套對敘事文本概念識解進行標注和定量、定性分析的研究體系,對《紅樓夢》及其兩個英文全譯本(大衛(wèi)·霍克思譯本和楊憲益譯本)的文體特征進行分析與歸納,并對其所引起的讀者反應做出解釋。
