《文物建筑（第17輯）》共收集文章19篇，其中文物建筑研究9篇，文化遺產(chǎn)保護5篇，建筑考古5篇。文物建筑研究欄目的文章涵蓋了世界文化遺產(chǎn)北京故宮北上門建筑遺存、全國重點文物保護單位山西華嚴寺、河南洛陽關(guān)林、云南昆明民居調(diào)查等研究內(nèi)容，本輯特邀上海大學上海美術(shù)學院副教授賓慧中關(guān)于古建筑保護的文章，此外還有河南地方建筑類型研究等，作者均為古建筑研究領(lǐng)域的知名專家和學者。文物遺產(chǎn)保護欄目特邀請?zhí)K州科技大學建筑與城市規(guī)劃學院教授徐永利關(guān)于泰州南水門遺址的保護與展示模式的研究，還有故宮交泰殿彩畫工藝研究和故宮燙樣數(shù)字化研究等。建筑考古欄目則采用了2020年全國十大考古發(fā)現(xiàn)的時莊遺址建筑復(fù)原研究文章等。
